Miami vs North Carolina Live College basketball

When: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET
Where: Watsco Center, Coral Gables, Florida

Here’s how you can catch the Saturday afternoon game on TV as well as streaming, along with some highlighted matchups and our pick against the spread. North Carolina’s balanced attack has been nearly unstoppable this season. Six-foot-8 forward Justin Jackson leads the team in scoring at 18.2 points per game. Jackson, a versatile player who plays both inside and out, has the ability to attack off the bounce and score it efficiently from outside, shooting 40 percent from 3-point range on the season.

For Miami, a veteran-laden roster lead by senior Davon Reed has helped Jim Larranaga find success, already eclipsing 12 wins this season. Reed, a 6-foot-6 sharpshooter for the Hurricanes, is averaging 21 points per game over his last four and really finding a groove in ACC play.

Matchups to watch:
The North Carolina backcourt, lead by point guard Joel Berry, is a group that consistently pushes the pace. When the Tar Heels control the tempo with their length and athleticism running the floor, it can put opponents into a tough position with a deficit in talent.

Overall, North Carolina’s offense in terms of adjusted tempo ranks 19th in the country. Quite the opposite of Miami, who ranks 306 (out of 351). For Miami to keep UNC out of transition, it will need to play a smart brand of basketball, not taking ill-advised 3-pointers and getting back quickly on defense to limit transition opportunities for Joel Berry and Co.
